I had a chance to ink up another new stamp last night...It's Happy Tilda!
I wanted to make an easel card with my new little Magnolia stamp and as luck would have it...over at the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog and the All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog, the challenges this week are for easel cards! Now that's some pretty good timing!
Here's a view of the front of the card. I found some beautiful BoBunny paper from their Kitchen Spice line. I loved the color combination and the two patterns: stripes & floral. I've used some Chocolate Chip and retired Soft Sky card stock from Stampin' Up!
Here's a quick side view:
I used a zig-zag stitch to sew the panels together and my Martha Stewart "Branch" punch to make the tiny leaves under the flower. The flower was a bud from a sprig of flowers I picked up in the flower department. It was such a beautiful peach color!! The ribbon is also from my Stampin' Up stash. The sentiment is from the SU Well Scripted Stamp set - I love that font.
