My Magnolia card today was created for the Week 13 Basic Grey Sketch Challenge. This is the first time I've actually particpated in a sketch challenge and I had so much fun! The sketch was great and the samples from the design team were truly beautiful. The only requirement to play along was that you use at least one item from Basic Grey. That wasn't difficult!! I have quite the stash of Basic Grey paper leftover from previous projects...and of course some pristine 12x12 papers that I just couldn't bear to cut into!! (You know what I'm talking about if you are a paper collector!!)For this challenge I used 2 beautiful papers from the 2008 Wassail Christmas line: Falling Snow and Winterberry. The card stock is from Stampin Up: Artichoke and Naturals White. The small green flourish is cut with a Sizzix die and the flowers were some blooms from a sprig of flowers I bought at a local craft store. The little pewter brads are from Making Memories.
Tilda is colored with Copic markers are here are the colors:
E000, E00, R20, E31, E33, E35, YG91, YG93, R32, R35, R37, G20, YG91, C1
I am really loving the soft colors for these Magnolia images.
