Good Morning and welcome to the final round of the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop.

I finally have my computer up and running and have added a few new Magnolia stamps to my collection so I was thrilled to be able to participate this month!

My entry for today uses Tilda under the Mistletoe - one of my very favorite Christmas images.

I found some beautiful new Christmas papers from Echo Park and paired it with some Crimson and Cream Bazzill card stock. I haven't made an easel card in a very long time so this was the perfect chance to go and pull out the directions for this style of card.

Happy Halloween!

Good Afternoon and Happy Halloween!

I'm so excited to get back to my Magnolia stamps! They are one of my true obsessions. Just look at that sweet little face!

This is "Lovely Tilda" from the Autumn/Fall Collection and she was a "must have" as soon as I saw her.

I've used some gorgeous paper from Teresa Collins called "Giving Thanks" and black and orange Bazzill card stock. The flowers are cut from the same Teresa Collins paper using one of the Tim Holtz flower dies and the May Arts Black stitched ribbon is one of my all time favorites!
She is all dressed up for Halloween in her little orange dress.
Here is a list of the Copic colors used: E0000, E00, YR14, Y38, Y32, E31, E25, E50 and 0.

My final Halloween project is another image from the "Be Very Scared" Penny Black stamp set. I didn't even get to ink up every image in that set...I guess there is always next Halloween.

The kitten and balloon are colored with Copic markers. I've matted the image with some black card stock and adhered it to an acetate box that is filled with Candy Corn.

Here is a side view of the project complete with candy corn!

Penny Black Halloween

Hello Again!

I'm back again with three Halloween cards that are all made using the Penny Black Transparent stamp set called "Be Very Scared". This is such a great collection of images because every single image is absolutely adorable! Just take a peek at these little cuties!

First is the Kitty in the Pumpkin:
I've used White, Black and Orange Bazzill card stock, my large Marvy circle punches, the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls embossing folder, a white gel pen and my Copic markers. This is such an adorable little kitten:-)

Second is the Mouse with the Broomstick:
I must admit that I bought the stamp set for this image alone, but instantly realized that I liked every image in the set. I've used some Reminisce Halloween Argyle paper, Black & Orange card stock, Black May Arts ribbon and my Copic markers to color the image.

And the third image is the Vampire Kitty!
He's super easy to color with Copic markers because his cape is already stamped black. I found this beautiful candy corn paper from K&Company and paired it with the same Black and Orange Bazzill card stock I've used on the other cards. I've airbrushed a soft background on my white card stock using the Copic airbrush system.

The "Trick or Treat" sentiment stamp is from a separate Penny Black transparent stamp set called "Trick or Treat". I think that little spider hanging from the word "Trick" adds just the perfect touch.

Witches Shoes

Good Morning and Happy Almost Halloween!

It is such a gorgeous Fall day. I'm hoping that the weather holds for all of those little Trick-or-Treaters that will be out tomorrow evening.

I really love this stamp from Stampendous called "Witches Shoes". It's sweet and simple and so easy to color. The orange paper is in the first card is by Echo Park. The dotted green paper used in the second card is from the "Booville" line by Little Yellow Bicycle.

The "Trick or Treat" sentiment is from a Penny Black stamp set. You may notice the tiny spider hanging from this sentiment. I popped a tiny black gem on top of the stamped spider. Just gotta love that itsy bitsy spider!

Give Me Your Candy...or Else

I'm Back....Just in time for Halloween!

It's been so long since I've posted anything...and now Halloween is just a few days away.

I couldn't let Halloween pass by without posting a few new projects on my much-neglected BLOG so I grabbed my camera and a few of the Halloween projects I've been working on and headed over to my little photo cube.

I'm starting tonight with a couple of sweet little Halloween treats.

This adorable little Vampire image is from Stampendous. He is colored with Copics and adhered to a small treat holder that is just the right size for a snack-sized package of M&M's. Here's a side view with the M&M package nestled safely inside.

The paper is from the "Booville" collection by Little Yellow Bicycle. The BAT trim at the top of the treat is a Black Satin trim from May Arts. I've used it here to decorate the top of the bag as well as hide the small staple that is holding my treat closed.

The treat bag is made from a strip of paper measuring 3x12; then scored at 4 1/2, 6 1/2 and 11. As you fold the top 1" flap over the top, you can simply staple the treat closed.

Fudge Cupcake Recipe for You

Good Afternoon!

I have such a special treat for you today....FUDGE CUPCAKES!!!

I teach a recipe class at the Scrapbook Page in Shawnee Kansas every month. The girls in the class submit recipes throughout the year and then I select 8 recipes every month and design a special recipe page. Each page measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and fits perfectly in a leather bound album made by "WeR".

We meet one Sunday afternoon a month, create all 8 recipes pages and sample a few recipes too! This class has been taking place for nearly 2 1/2 years so I have over 200 of these fabulous recipes in my collection. Aren't I a lucky girl!! I now have SIX albums filled with tried and true favorites that I can turn to whenever I need a great recipe!

This month was extra special because we sampled two fabulous treats!

The first recipe was submitted by Emily Brown and it was a HUGE hit!
Take a look at these chocolate goodies! Delicious little brownies in a cupcake wrapper, frosted with chocolate icing and topped with a few sprinkles of pink sugar. Thanks Emily for a great recipe!!

Here's a copy of the recipe page we made in class. It doesn't get much better than chocolate and scrappin'!

We used some beautiful pink and chocolate paper from Pebbles along with some Bazzill card stock. The upper strip of brown card stock is punched using a Martha Stewart doily border punch. A thin strip of sheer dotted pink ribbon wraps around the page at the top.

Here's a copy of the recipe if you're interested in trying them for yourself. I used pecans for this recipe. I frosted my Brownie Cupcakes even though the recipe didn't call for that. Can you really ever have too much chocolate??

I forgot to take a picture of the second recipe we sampled in class...Blueberry Breakfast Bake! Another fantastic recipe!! However... I'm making that dish tonight and will take a quick picture in the morning to share!

Spring Kit and Friday Sketchers

Good Evening!

I spent some time with the new Magnolia Spring Kit today...what a lovely way to spend the day!! I am thrilled with all of the images included in the kit.

Here's a little close up of one of the new Tilda images. Isn't she just gorgeous??

I've created my card today using a sketch over at the Friday Sketchers Challenge blog. It looks like I've finished just in time to be able to enter this card in challenge #97. I've included the gorgeous sketch below which was designed by Beatrix.

I'm using the remaining pieces of my Basic Grey paper left over from yesterday's card. Once again, the papers are from the Sugared collection. I've added some light pink chandelier glass garland that I purchased over at the Magnolia-Licious store. The wired glass garland is absolutely beautiful and really easy to work with!! I've unwrapped a couple of wired strands and twisted them around my flower.

The flower is created by layering lots of silk petals from a floral stem I bought at Michael's. The petals are all held together with a rhinestone brad. The ribbon is a wide Chocolate Satin from Stampin Up!

Tilda from the new Spring Kit

What a great day!

The new Magnolia Spring kit arrived today! These kits are sent out 4 times a year and all of the images are kept secret until they arrive in the mailbox. I have been stalking the mailman since I heard that kits were arriving in the US! I am so glad the wait is over.

The images arrive as just sheets of rubber so I grabbed my EZ Mount, mounted & trimmed the images and created my very first card using a stamp from this gorgeous new stamp kit!! The images are adorable! I wish I could just shut my door and stamp for the next few days!!

I found a beautiful sketch over at the Basic Grey Challenge blog and dug through my stash of Basic Grey papers and scraps. I've included the sketch designed by Martine for week 17 below.

And here's my take on the sketch.

I subbed out the flowers for some beautiful wide Pink grosgrain ribbon to match the ribbon in Tilda's hair. Both of the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey "Sugared" collection. The papers are named Delectable and Luscious. Pink & Chocolate is my all time favorite color combination so I LOVE these papers.

The Brown card stock is Bazzill, the small brads are from Making Memories. The sentiment and Chocolate satin ribbon are both from Stampin' Up! I've also used my SU ticket corner punch on the stamped images. I love that little notch snipped out of the corner.

Obsessed with Digital Images!

Good Morning!

I finished my remaining two remaining cards late last night! I just couldn't put my markers away! These cards will complete my set of 4 coordinating cards using my new digital images from All That Scraps and some fun Doodlebug paper in lime and pink. If you scroll down to my previous post, you'll find the first two cards.

The first card is a perfect fit for a creative challenge over at Susie's Sassy Designs. This is their final challenge and the theme is Me and My Pet. The name of this digital image is "Puppy Kiki La Rue" and I think she is totally adorable with her little friend.

The second card uses the image "Polka Dot Emma". I just love this little polka dot bikini ~ what a cutie!!

I've used the same basic Copic colors on all 4 cards. Here's a few details:
Hair: Y11, Y21, Y26
Clothes: RV10, RV13, Y0G01, YG03
Skin: E0000 and E00 (My E000 ran dry so I had to improvise!)
Cheeks: pink chalk

Good Evening!

I couldn't wait to spend a little time this evening with the digital images I purchased from All That Scraps! I'm planning to make a set of 4 coordinating cards using 4 of my new digi images.
I have the first two cards finished and will complete the other two cards in the morning but I just couldn't wait to post these tonight:-)

The first card uses the digital image "Cupcake Kiki La Rue". Isn't she adorable with her cupcake? The sentiment is computer generated using Microsoft Publisher. I wanted a small sentiment that would fit in a circle punch and none of my stamps were quite the right size.

The second card uses the image "Spring Birgitta".

We have a sweet little white bunny of our own so I knew that I had to have this adorable image of Birgitta and her bunny.

Sunflower Birgitta

Good Evening!
Oh my Goodness!! I FINALLY purchased my first digi images!

I have seen all of the incredible digital images on-line but I have been too afraid to order them. Here were my top 3 fears about digital images:
A. I wouldn't be able to download the images (or find them after downloading)
B. I wouldn't be able to easily resize the images for my projects
C. My printer ink would smear when I colored with my Copic markers.

However, there were so many beautiful images calling my name...so...

I sent a quick email to Christine at All That Scraps asking for a Digi Image Test so that I could give it a try. And within just a few minutes, I had a sample image. I downloaded the sample image and after testing my printer ink, I went immediately back to store to shop!!!

I purchased several images, downloaded them and popped them into my Microsoft Publisher program where I could easily resize the images and put multiple images on a page to print.

I bought this little cutie (Swiss Pixie Birgitta) from All That Scraps and quickly put together a couple of cards. Since we live in the state of Kansas (the Sunflower State) I started with this image first. It worked and I am THRILLED!! Talk about immediate gratification. You place the order and POOF!!! The images are ready to download, print and color within minutes.

I think I will just lock myself up in my craft room this weekend with my new images!!

Kitchen Tilda and a Recipe

Good Morning!

I finally had a chance to ink up this adorable Magnolia Kitchen Tilda and couldn't wait to use her for a recipe page!

I teach monthly recipe classes at the Scrapbook Page in Shawnee Kansas. The recipes are submitted in advance by the girls who take the classes so I have lots of fantastic recipes to choose from each month when designing the pages. And of course a recipe class wouldn't be complete without a few samples of the featured recipes. Snacking and stamping...What a great way to spend the afternoon!!

Each page measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and contains one of the recipes that the girls have submitted. "WeR" makes these beautiful leather albums with page protectors which are just the perfect size for these pages. Each page can be placed in a page protector to keep it safe when cooking in the kitchen! I used my Silhouette digital cutter to cut the flourish from some black vinyl and adhered the flourishes to the side of my albums.

The beautiful cherry paper is from Creative Imaginations - cherries on one side and red with white dots on the other. The Chocolate Chip card stock and 5/8" Red grosgrain ribbon are both from Stampin' Up!
Tilda is colored with the following Copic Markers:

Another Sweet Bunny

Good Morning!

I'm back with another image from the "Carrot Bunny" clear stamp set by Inky Antics. (If you scroll down to my previous post, you'll find another card using a different bunny from this same stamp set.) The set includes 2 bunnies, 4 sentiments and a bunch of little carrots...all totally adorable!!

I've colored the bunny in shades of brown today. In my previous post, you'll find that the large rabbit is white. I'm trying out different colors using my Copic markers.

This is another card sample from my upcoming Copic class at the Scrapbook Page. The layout is simple so that we have lots of time to color our images. The card stock is Bazzill Red and the beautiful plaid paper is Hippity Hoppity Wicker from WeR. I've given the plaid paper a simple punched edge using a Martha Stewart doily border punch.

A Big Bunny Hug

Good Morning!

For my card today I'm using an absolutely adorable stamp from Inky Antics! This large bunny is just one image in the clear stamp set called "Carrot Bunny". The set includes 2 bunnies, 4 sentiments and a bunch of little carrots. I'll be posting another sample using this same set tomorrow!

Here is the greeting I chose for the inside of the card. Gotta Love It!!

I apologize that my photograph doesn't show all of the copic coloring very well. The large white bunny is actually shaded with a C1 marker. I've used some pink chalk to give his cheeks some rosy color and to color the inside of the ears.

For the large carrot, I wanted to try a fun technique using the Copic colorless blender solution. (We were shown this technique in the Copic Certification class I took last Fall.) I colored the carrot with my copic markers first. Next, I dabbed some colorless blender solution on a small scrap of cloth and then lightly touched the cloth to the carrot. It left the texture from my cloth on the carrot.

This is one of the 5 cards we'll be making in my upcoming Copic class at the Scrapbook Page. The card design is very simple so that we plenty of time to color all of our images in class. The orange card stock is embossed with the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder just to give this little cutie some texture.

We have a cute little white bunny of our own named "Mr. Bunz" so I just had to snap a few pictures of our little furry friend. He's a little Mini Rex and super cute and cuddly!

Magnolia-licious March Christmas Blog Hop

For my card today I'm using Tilda with the Violin. This was a wonderful surprise gift from Diana at the Magnolia-licious store when I placed my last order. I taught vocal music for 14 years with the Millard Public Schools in Omaha Nebraska, and so this little musician was a special treat!

I've chosen some Basic Grey paper from the "Wassail" collection for my card this month. (I had just enough scraps left from previous projects!) The card stock is Stampin' Up Always Artichoke and it was a perfect match to the Basic Grey patterned paper.

I've added a little Doodlebug Sugar coated glitter to her wings for a little Christmas sparkle!

The sentiment is from the SU set named "Scenic Season". All the paper is sponged with a little SU Creamy Caramel ink.

Tilda is colored with Copic markers.

Tilda with her kitty

Good Afternoon,

We had a strange first day of Spring yesterday with 6 inches of snow! Today, the snow is melting but it still feels like Winter! Just a perfect weekend to stay inside and stamp:-)

My card today is using a "new to me" Magnolia stamp. The name of the stamp is "Tilda with cat hanging in her arms" - That's a mouthful!! I'm wishing for some Spring Time weather so I've pulled out the Pastels this weekend. This card uses some Tea Party designer paper from my Stampin' Up stash as well as some Bashful Blue and White card stock.

The ribbon is some gorgeous 1 1/4" Pink Grosgrain SU! ribbon that I used for the first time. I have a bad habit of hoarding the "good stuff" and setting it aside for just the right project. Because of this, I end up with a lot of unopened packages just waiting to be used! But I'm changing my bad habits!!

I've actually opened the package and used the Light Pink Chandelier Glass Garland that arrived in my mailbox on Friday! I ordered a strand of this garland along with some Magnolia stamps over at the Magnolia-licious store. The glass beads were so beautiful that I simply couldn't put them in a drawer. I've tried to get a close up of the beads in the picture below!

Little Bunny Tilda

Good Evening!

I would say "Welcome Spring" but we are right in the middle of a snowstorm!! It started snowing late last night...it has been snowing all day and it is still snowing. Originally, I heard maybe 2-4 inches but we're way past that now and the forecast has been changing throughout the day. I'm sure this will all end soon and Spring will actually arrive, but not today in Olathe Kansas:-)

However...I do have a Spring card to share with you tonight. My new Magnolia stamps arrived on Friday and I couldn't wait to tear open the package. By the way...I need to say a HUGE thank you to Diana at Magnolia-licious for her super quick shipping! My package arrived just in time for a snowy weekend of stamping!

I've created this card with my new "Little Bunny Tilda" and "Two Eggs" stamps. Isn't that little bunny suit just adorable? Just Gotta Love it!!!

Happy Tilda Easel Card

Good Afternoon!

I had a chance to ink up another new stamp last night...It's Happy Tilda!
I wanted to make an easel card with my new little Magnolia stamp and as luck would have it...over at the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog and the All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog, the challenges this week are for easel cards! Now that's some pretty good timing!

Here's a view of the front of the card. I found some beautiful BoBunny paper from their Kitchen Spice line. I loved the color combination and the two patterns: stripes & floral. I've used some Chocolate Chip and retired Soft Sky card stock from Stampin' Up!

Here's a quick side view:
I used a zig-zag stitch to sew the panels together and my Martha Stewart "Branch" punch to make the tiny leaves under the flower. The flower was a bud from a sprig of flowers I picked up in the flower department. It was such a beautiful peach color!! The ribbon is also from my Stampin' Up stash. The sentiment is from the SU Well Scripted Stamp set - I love that font.

Another Sweet Tilda

Good Afternoon!

I think I've already mentioned that this little "Sweet Tilda" from Magnolia is my new favorite image so it's no surprise that I've inked her up again for another card!

I found this beautiful sketch over at the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog and I grabbed some beautiful BoBunny paper. I've included the Week #46 sketch below - isn't it a beauty!!

I like to cut two sets of card stock and paper when I create my cards. (This way I have one card to give and one to keep!) Then it's fun to change things up a little bit on each card so that I get to try a different technique or a different set of copic colors or different embellishments on each card.

On this first card, I've distressed the edges of my Stampin Up card stock and the beautiful double sided BoBunny Plaid/Dotted paper. The card is all tied up with some SU Chocolate satin ribbon and the greeting is from the SU Whimsical Words stamp set.

On the second card, I've sewn the edges of the card stock with a zig-zag stitch. I'm really enjoying sewing the layers together with my sewing machine. The satin ribbon is replaced with a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock punched with a Scalloped Border punch from SU and a 1" strip of the BoBunny paper. I've replaced the greeting with another from the same stamp set but stamped the sentiment on a circle instead of the oval from above.
You may also notice that Tilda is a brunette on this card while she's a blonde on the first card.

Happy Bee-day

Good Afternoon!

Just a quick post today of a sweet little bee. I've used the "Bee Wings" and "Bee Day" stamps from Stampendous.
The bee is colored with Copic markers: C1, C3, C5, Y11, Y15.

The White card base is cut at 4 1/4" x 10" and scored at 5 1/2". On the shorter front side of the card, I've used the Martha Stewart doily border punch and I've layered a punched strip of Black CS behind the white card base.

The Yellow card stock is embossed with the Divine Swirls cuttlebug embossing folder.

I finally had a chance to ink up my new little "Sweet Tilda". I think she is absolutely my favorite Magnolia stamp! (Of course now that I've seen the new images from the Hoppy Easter Collection and I will soon have some new favorites!!)

I've tried to use some tips from Suzanne Dean's wonderful tutorial for coloring with Copics to look like Distress inks. You can find Suzanne's tutorials here. She is so incredibly talented! It is definitely a technique that requires a lot of practice...and a lot of paper!!

I've created this card for sketch challenge#93 over at Friday Sketchers. It's another fabulous design from Jacque and I've included her sketch below!

The final photo shows the same card with a different ribbon around the center of the card. I couldn't decide if I liked the crocheted trim or the sheer ribbon better, so I've tried it both ways. The card stock is from SU, the designer paper is Cosmo Cricket. I've added a little chipboard heart that is also covered in SU card stock.

Fluffles Hop

Good Evening!

No...you're not seeing double! I'm posting two different versions of the same card tonight:-)
Both cards are colored with Copic markers.
The first card is colored in shades of tan (E50, E31, E33).
The second card is colored in shades of gray (C1, C3).
The cheeks are done with pink chalk...love that soft look!

The two stamps are from Stampendous: "Fluffles Hop" & "Hoppin Hello". I fell in love with Fluffles the cat in his little bunny slippers. I'm hoping you can see the shimmery glitter on the slippers. I used some Doodlebug white fuzzy flock on a few of the cards but I gave those away before I took pictures.

The flowered paper is from American Crafts and the card stock is Bazzill.

Daisy Bunnies

Good Evening!

With Spring just around the corner, I'm sharing a card tonight using a super sweet Penny Black stamp called "Daisy Bunnies". Aren't they just adorable little bunnies? I'm such a fan of Penny Black stamps and I adore all of their little bunnies and bears. And as a bonus, the wood-mounted stamps have colored images on the back side of the block. It's a great guide to follow when coloring their images. The card stock is Bazzill and the lovely plaid paper is an older print from BoBunny called "Pep Rally Plaid". The Olive satin ribbon is May Arts.

I'm teaching some Copic card classes at a fabulous scrapbook store called The Scrapbook Page located in Shawnee Kansas. This is one of our March cards which uses some feathering strokes for blending colors. I'll be sharing some other class samples in the very near future. Honey Bee

Good Afternoon!!
I ordered a few new Magnolia stamps and was so anxious to ink 'em up!! My card today is made with Honey Tilda and I've created her for the March sketch challenge over at the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog. This sketch was created by the super talented Jacque Beddingfield and I was so thrilled to find this beautiful sketch while inking up my new Honey Bee!

The Chocolate and Saffron card stock, the striped chocolate paper and the grosgrain ribbon are all Stampin' Up! products. The yellow background paper is My Mind's Eye from the "Just Dreamy" collection and was a perfect match to the Saffron card stock. I've stamped one of the layers of saffron card stock with a flourish stamp from the SU "Priceless" stamp set...one of my all time favorite stamp sets.

Here are my Copic Colors: E000, E00, E25, E31, E33, E35, E47, E50, E51, E53, Y21 and 0-Colorless Blender.

The sentiment is a Stampendous stamp and I snipped the back off of a cute little bee button so that I could adhere it to the card. I'm still hooked on my sewing machine, so you'll find some zig-zag stitching on one of the layers.

Tilda Birthday greeting

Good Evening!

I've created this card for two challenges: a sketch challenge over at Friday Sketchers and a Birthday card for the Just Magnolia challenge.

The sketch at Friday Sketchers is hosted by Carole and I've included her beautiful sketch below!

The card stock and designer paper are from Stampin' Up. I've used a Martha Stewart border punch and some sheer pink ribbon along with a few pink brads on the horizontal band. You'll find machine stitching around the panels since I'm still hooked on sewing!! The Birthday sentiment is from the "Well Scripted" stamp set by Stampin' Up! I just love that these stamps are now available in clear mount!!

On the second version of the card I've added a few wire stems covered with Flower Soft. I colored the white wire with my Copic marker so that I could have green flower stems and then added the tiny "Sweet Pea" Flower Soft material.

The images are colored with Copic markers:

Penny Black Bees & Bunny

Don't ya just love this bunny in a flower pot with the little bees buzzing around the flower? I saw this stamp and knew that it just had to come home with me. Of course, I'm a huge fan of Penny Black stamps so it's no surprise that I bought this one!! And...we have an adorable little white rabbit of our very own, so I'm partial to bunnies!!

It's a double post day today!! The challenge ends tomorrow so I need to post the card tonight!I've created this card for the Week 89 Penny Black Saturday Challenge which uses the color combo Pink, Green and Yellow along with a Penny Black image. I had this beautiful paper from October Afternoon which totally fit the color combo and paired it with some Ruby and Yellow Bazzill card stock and Regal Rose Stampin' Up ribbon.

I even grabbed my new SU Scalloped Trim border and corner punches. They are a little tricky to use, but I think it was worth the effort. I love the scalloped frames that can be made with these punches.

These little bees & bunny are colored with Copics:

R20: flower petals, flower pot
Y15, Y38: Bees

Good Afternoon,

These Stampendous Bees are so adorable and they were a perfect fit for the Week 53 Copic Colour Challenge. The colors for the challenge are listed below.

I immediately thought of these little bees and some yellow dotted BoBunny paper I had used on another card. This image fits perfectly on top of those small acrylic paint cans. That will have to be another project in the near future!! The name of the stamp is "bee happy".

The wings are glittered with some Doodlebug sugarcoated glitter and the bees are colored with Copic markers. The flower stem and the small brad inside the flower are colored with YG03. The wide black stitched ribbon is from Bazzill.

For my card today I'm using Santa's Helper and the Old Bench. I purchased these beautiful stamps from the Magnolia-licious store where you'll find great service and great prices.

The card stock, patterned paper and ribbon are from my Stampin' Up stash. I had saved a package of my favorite retired Parisian Breeze designer paper and used it for my Christmas card this month. I found some Dew Drops and added those to the center of the flowers and around my little Edwin. I've distressed the edges of the dark blue card stock and then went to my sewing machine and stitched around the chocolate paper. The images are colored with Copic markers.

Two Challenges all wrapped up in one Tilda

This card was created for two challenges that I found while visiting some of my favorite blogs. The first challenge from Stamp with Fun has the theme "stitch". Since I've recently found that I absolutely love sewing on my cards, this was a perfect fit!! I adjusted my sewing machine back to straight stitching instead of zig-zag for this card. Next time, I think I'll try sewing with something other than white thread!

The second challenge is from Friday Sketchers. This is challenge #90 and was designed by Beatrix from Germany. I loved the look of this sketch!

I had purchased a fabulous 9000-piece Cosmo Cricket scrapbooking kit from Tuesday Mornings a few weeks ago and I have just been waiting to open up all of the paper and embellishments. The papers are just Gorgeous! The kit included two 8x8 scrapbooks, paper, chipboard, ribbon, buttons, brads...and of course everything coordinates together. The vintage colors are fabulous: dusty pinks, blues, reds and greens!!!!!

The Designer paper for this card came from this beautiful Cosmo Cricket scrapbooking kit.
The Red card stock is from Bazzill, and the green card stock is Mellow Moss from Stampin' Up - a perfect match to the paper. The little chipboard flower and button were also included in the kit. The sentiment is from the new clear mount set "Whimsical Words" by Stampin' Up! I think the font on this set is beautiful!

Basic Grey Sketch Challenge

My Magnolia card today was created for the Week 13 Basic Grey Sketch Challenge. This is the first time I've actually particpated in a sketch challenge and I had so much fun! The sketch was great and the samples from the design team were truly beautiful. The only requirement to play along was that you use at least one item from Basic Grey. That wasn't difficult!! I have quite the stash of Basic Grey paper leftover from previous projects...and of course some pristine 12x12 papers that I just couldn't bear to cut into!! (You know what I'm talking about if you are a paper collector!!)

For this challenge I used 2 beautiful papers from the 2008 Wassail Christmas line: Falling Snow and Winterberry. The card stock is from Stampin Up: Artichoke and Naturals White. The small green flourish is cut with a Sizzix die and the flowers were some blooms from a sprig of flowers I bought at a local craft store. The little pewter brads are from Making Memories.

Tilda is colored with Copic markers are here are the colors:
E000, E00, R20, E31, E33, E35, YG91, YG93, R32, R35, R37, G20, YG91, C1
I am really loving the soft colors for these Magnolia images.

Tilda in Chocolate and Blue

Good Morning!
I fell in love with this designer paper from Stampin Up called Parisian Breeze. It's simply gorgeous stuff! I am embarrassed to admit that I am a HUGE paper hoarder. I have several unopened packages of discontinued paper that I am finally getting around to using and I am having a blast. It's like Christmas all over again as I finally open these packages of paper from my stash:-)

This sweet Tilda is colored in browns and blues with my Copic markers. The flowers were from a sprig of spring flowers that I bought a while ago in the floral department and I simply removed the blooms from the branch! (I definitely need to purchase some of the beautiful flowers that I've seen on numerous cards!) I added a little blue gem to the center of each flower.

Another Birthday?

My favorite stamps from Stampendous are the Changito monkeys...and this little guy is a hoot! I think that the name of the stamp is "Changito Loco" which cracks me up!! I've paired him up with the "Another Birthday" sentiment stamp which is also from Stampendous. I think this sentiment fits him just perfectly!

My sewing machine has gotten a lot of use this week since I've been zig-zag stitching on my cards. However... I think that sewing on paper is supposed to dull the needle...maybe I should have a couple of spare needles on hand:-)

I've used my large pink Marvy scalloped circle punch on the red card stock and added white dots in the scallops using a white gel pen. The patterned paper is Basic Grey and the silly monkey is colored with Copic markers

My First Copic Colour Challenge

This card was designed for the Copic Colour Challenge #51 which features Copic colors R29, RV23 and B12. I'm using some of the last pieces of my Pink Paislee Cupid Collection paper which matched beautifully with the colors in this challenge. And yes...you have seen this layout on a previous post using my Barefoot Tilda image with a chocolate satin ribbon! I had already sewn the card base together when I saw the colors for this weeks color challenge and knew it would be a perfect fit.

I had such fun with these beautiful colors but I just couldn't figure out the best way to incorporate the R29...so I used my R29 marker and airbrushed some shimmery cream ribbon! You just gotta love the airbrush for altering the color of the embellishments!

I've also been watching the Copic tutorials posted by Suzanne J. Dean. What an inspiration!! You can view her tutorials here. She is such an amazing talent and all of her projects are simply extraordinary! I've taken the Copic certification class but I have so much to learn and she willingly shares her tips and techniques.

One last Valentine card

OK...I know it's February 15th, but I just found a fun challenge over at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. This challenge is simply to create a valentine card using any Penny Black stamp. I have never participated in a challenge before - but since my stash of Penny Black stamps is growing quite quickly, I thought it would be fun to join in. Just maybe...I'll even figure out how to use all of the links!!

This card uses two stamps from Penny Black "Via Post" and "Be My Valentine". I've used some Pink Paislee paper from their new Cupid Collection - one of my favorites!!! The image is colored with Copic markers.

...And of course you'll see that I've sewn the edges with my sewing machine. I really love the look of the sewn layers!!

Barefoot Tilda and my zig-zag stitching

Happy Valentine's Day!

I finally did it! I set up my sewing machine and I stitched for the very first time on paper. I've seen such beautiful cards and scrapbook layouts with machine stitching but have never actually tried it and now I'm hooked! My sewing machine is 38 years old and was handed down from my husband's grandmother. I wasn't even sure that it could do a zig-zag stitch, but it worked like a charm. Now I want to sew on every card and every scrapbook page!! If you look closely, you'll see the zig-zags around the outside edges of the patterned paper.

This Barefoot Tilda is colored with Copics. I'm trying to go with the concept of "less is more" when I color and I am not putting down so much color on these little Magnolias. I love the look of the soft colors and they went perfectly with this paper from "Pink Paislee". Her wings are glittered with some Doodlebug sugar-coated glitter - I'm not sure if that shows up in the picture. The card stock and ribbon are from Stampin' Up!

Baking Tilda in Green

I just adore this "Baking Tilda" from Magnolia stamps. Maybe it's her long hair, or the sweet outfit, or the cookies fresh out of the oven but it's one of my favorite images.
You'll see a previous post where I colored this image in blue, now she appears in green and soon, you'll also see her in pink!

The paper is a glittered and embossed paper from DCWV. The Regal Rose cardstock and ribbon are from Stampin' Up. I found the silver double heart charm in the wedding department at Hobby Lobby. I'm also breaking out my Nesties and having so much fun!!

I often wondered why Tilda and Edwin from Magnolia stamps don't have mouths and why some of the image have wings while others do not. Here's the answer I found from some of the Magnolia experts at the Magnolia Yahoo group. Tilda and Edwin are angels. Sometimes the wings are visible, other times they are hidden on their back. Angels have no need for a mouth because they speak with their heart. I thought this was wonderful! It makes me love these stamps even more!

Conversation Hearts Box Cover

Good Afternoon!
I miss the days when the boys were younger and we would sit at the kitchen table and sign all of the valentines for school valentine parties. How time flies...
I bought the boxes of Conversation Hearts weeks ago, but I knew that I wanted to decorate with the "Sending Love" designer paper from Stampin' Up. I finally got my hands on the paper and made my covers for these boxes today. It's another cold day with flurries and sleet...so not a bad day to stay inside and play in my office.

The large box cover measures 3 1/2 x 8 1/2.
The scalloped band was cut at 2 1/2 x 8 1/2, and the punched along the long sides with the scallop border punch.
The Designer paper band was cut at 2 x 7 for the box on the left and 1 7/8 x 7 for the box on the right.

Everything for this project is from Stampin' Up! Here's a list of the supplies:

Baking Tilda in Blue

Good Afternoon!
I inked up another one of my new Magnolia stamps and have been coloring this afternoon. Oh my goodness - I absolutely LOVE these stamps!!
This is "Baking Tilda" and she's done in colors to match my Bashful Blue card stock. I can't wait to try her in other colors!! I've already stamped her multiple times on my white card stock and while the rest of the family is enjoying the football game this evening, I may be coloring with my Copics!! (I just have to keep my priorities in order!)
I used the "Labels 4" Nestabilities dies, a Martha Stewart heart border punch and the Stampin' Up! photo corners punch to complete the card. The white organza ribbon, card stock and designer paper are all from Stampin' Up!

Hot Chocolate Anyone?

I just had to share one more treat tonight. With 4 fluffy inches of snow yesterday and more in the forecast for the entire week, it's time for some hot cocoa!
I've made these "Pull-treats" with Hershey bars, microwave popcorn, packets of gum, etc...but this one contains a package of hot chocolate.

The brown card stock measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and is scored at 2" and 6" on the long side to fit a single serving size packet of hot chocolate.
The blue Dotted Swiss belly band measures 9x3.

I've punched a couple of strips of scalloped border from white card stock with my new Scallop border punch from Stampin' Up! and adhered them to the back side of the blue belly band. The belly band is then folded around the Brown card stock.

The ribbon measures about 16".

Valentine Bear

Tilda in Red

Oh my Goodness! Each time I open up another one of my new Magnolia stamps, I fall in love with another little Tilda!
I've been hoarding this flocked paper from Stampin' Up! forever. I decided I would finally cut into my first piece and I'm so glad I did. I punched the lacey strip with my Martha Stewart "Doily Lace" edge punch - so dainty! She is colored with Copic markers - (I have a lot of work to do on blending reds). The hearts along the left side are some large metallic brads from Hobby Lobby and the red satin ribbon is salvaged from Christmas wrapping. (I can't stand to throw away any ribbon!)

Sweet Little Strawberry Magnolia

Good Evening!
Yes...I've been coloring with my Copics again today. It's so easy to lose track of time when I'm stamping in my office! I went digging through my scrap paper and found this embossed strawberry paper from DCWV. I had just enough for a card front and grabbed my Magnolia stamps. This little Tilda is called "Flower Jeans" and again I placed her on the "Old Bench". I can see that I will need to order some more furniture stamps for my little Tildas:-)
The flowers are some Prima flowers from a jar and I colored the gems with my Copics so that the gems would match the color of the berries. The card is all tied up with some Bazzill stitched ribbon.

My Very First Magnolia Stamp

I have totally fallen in love with Magnolia stamps! This is my first official card using two of my new Magnolia stamps: Jam Tilda and Old Bench. Tilda was stamped first and then masked so the bench could be added "beneath" her. These stamps have become my new obsession!!
The card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. The designer paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle.
I used my Copic Markers to color the images.

I took a Copic Certification class in Minneapolis last Fall taught by Marianne Walker and I've been hooked on COPICS ever since. I just have to say that I LOVE these markers.
I've used this cute little Penny Black Snowman stamp called "warm & cold" and colored him with my Copic markers. After the image was completely colored, I masked the snowman and airbrushed a light blue background using the airbrush tool. Not a lot of color blending on this little guy. This one's a quick and easy card!

Sock Monkey

Hello!

This is the final post that I'm bringing over from my old blog at Typepad!
My Grandmother used to make these Sock Monkeys so I knew I had to have this set when it came out last year! He's such a cute little fella!
I've made so many cards using this same layout - with the color blocks in all different colors and a different image on top.
I distressed the edges of sock Monkey and the mat behind it using the distressing tool in the SU! cutter kit. It might be difficult to see the scruffy edges on-line.

This is my all-time favorite color combination: Pink and Chocolate. I guess that's why I like the Sweet Always Designer paper as much as I do! The papers are just loaded with shades of Pink and Brown. The papers remind me of the Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream stores.

Ladybug Punch Art

I love my paper punches and I LOVE Punch Art! This little ladybug was so simple...with the right punches! I used my 1/8" circle punch to punch spots from the red wings so that I wouldn't have to glue on those tiny spots. I also split the black hemp into smaller threads to give this little bug thinner antennas.
I have also made a few "Chocolate & Pink" ladybugs - my favorite color combination!

I've been hoarding this paper long enough and thought it was finally time to open the package and use it! Such a simple and elegant card. I Scream for Ice Scream

Don't these look good enough to eat?
When I saw the adorable Ice Cream Cone on Angie's BLOG this week,I knew I had the perfect card for breaking out my Color Spritzer tool. It may be difficult to see, but the white background is actually spattered with Close to Cocoa ink on the first card and Pixie Pink ink on the second card using the Color Spritzer tool.
After finishing the first card in scoops of Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette, I decided to make a Rainbow Sherbet variation. I think I like the brightly colored sherbet variation even better:-)
I saw the little wooden spoons at Hobby Lobby a few months ago and they reminded me of this card that I had placed in my "favorites" file on SCS. I LOVE the little wooden spoons tied up with ribbon!

Magic Snowflake Technique

Snowy Greetings!
I found this gorgeous technique on Splitcoaststampers and just had to give it a try! It's snowing like crazy today, so it's the perfect day to post this snowflake card. The boys were hoping for a snow day, but no such luck. It didn't start snowing early enough:-)
Here's a quick set of instructions for the Magic Snowflake Technique:
1. Use your embossing buddy on your glossy card stock to remove static (and finger prints!)2. Stamp image using white craft ink.3. Emboss image using white embossing powder.4. Saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and apply a few drops of two different colors of re-inker. I used two drops of each of the following: Night of Navy and Brocade Blue.5. Pounce these colors on top of your embossed image, rotating the cotton ball to distribute the color. Your snowflakes will "disappear" under the ink.6. Using your heat gun, emboss the paper one more time. Your snowflakes will magically reappear as the rubbing alcohol evaporates.
What a fun technique!! You can find great directions on SCS in the resources section.

Glittered Glass Ornament

Greetings!
Here's ornament #2 for my snowman tree. I can't decide if I like the snow-filled ornament from yesterday's post or this glittery blue one best.
Years ago, my Mom and I made these ornaments by filling the glass ornaments with paint. In fact, when I was a "Room Mom" at the boys elementary school, the kiddos made them at their holiday party. I remember how long it took for the paint to drip from the ornament!!
This one is made using my Pacific Point re-inker. I LOVE this vibrant blue inside this glass ornament. I haven't used this color in any stamping projects yet...I think the wrapper is still on the ink pad!!
This is another easy, yet a little messy project! (My fingers are still blue!) Simply squeeze drops of ink into the top of the ornament and work it around the inside until the inside is totally covered. I turned the ornament upside down and let any remaining ink drip out of the top. Then comes the glitter! Pour some of your dazzling diamonds into the top, shake it around and dump out the excess glitter. Replace the silver ornament topper and you're finished. I added the vinyl white die-cut snowflake to match my other ornaments.

I was so excited to post these little ornaments!! I made them for a shoebox swap a few weeks ago and they were so incredibly easy.
I bought the glass ornaments, powder snow, white vinyl and swirly wire ornament hangers at Hobby Lobby. The Taffeta Ribbon and the Sizzix snowflake die cuts were from Stampin' Up!
The Snowflake was cut with my Big Shot and the white vinyl cuts beautifully! I filled the clear glass ornament with some of the powdery snow, tied a few ribbons to the top and it was finished. I have always had a Snowman themed tree decorated for Christmas so these were just the perfect addition!!

I made these magnets about a month ago for a workshop. Then I promptly misplaced them, tin and all! They finally resurfaced yesterday when I was cleaning:-)
These little magnets are made using various stamp sets, card stock and punches. I purchased some magnet strip at a local craft store and cut pieces to fit the back of the punched shapes.

Smore's Gift Set

Here's a picture of a class that my upline and I held in September. It was copied from an adorable project featured on stage at the 2008 Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City.
We altered the original design a bit but I just love the final result!
Everyone decorated their Smore's box (a QuikTrip cup holder!!) with some patterned paper and card stock. Then we stamped on cello bags to hold the marshmallows, made a simple tag for the package of graham crackers and tied a strip of ribbon around the Hershey bars. Voila...all you need for Smore's in one cute package.
We then made a set of 4 cards with matching envelopes to add to the set.
These neat drink holders from QuikTrip (QT) have spots for 4 cups so there is a place for:
Three Hershey bars
Marshmallows in a cello bag
One sleeve of graham crackers
Four cards and coordinating envelopes

Peace and Joy Frames

Greetings!
I bought this "Peace & Joy & Love & Cheer" Big Shot die right away with the intention of making some framed art. I'm totally smitten with this die!! I purchased frames in all shapes and sizes but these long frames are definitely my favorite.

Frame 1: I really like the white text on red card stock. You may not be able to see the wheeled background on the red background...it's done with the Jumbo So Swirly wheel and a red ink cartridge. I saw THIS beautiful card by alystamps on Splitcoaststampers and loved the hanging ornaments so I included them on the red frame. The ornaments are embossed with white Embossing Powder and then popped up with a stampin' dimensional.

Frame 2: Then I found THIS gorgeous frame by JanTink (Jan Tinklenberg) on her awesome blog and I knew I was hooked. Her frame is more embellished and absolutely beautiful!! I loved the little white dots on her letters so I just had to add those little doodles.
I just may have to stock up on some more of these frames and make some early Christmas gifts!

M&M Santa

Here's another chocolate treat:-) I'm using the small snack-size M&M packs again for this project. These little treat holders can be made so simply and can easily be adapted for any holiday or any occasion. (See the M&M Monsters from an earlier post!)
These folded treats begin as a 3x11 strip of paper - four per 12x12 sheet of card stock. They are scored at 4", 6" and 10". The M&M package is stapled inside the top fold and the ribbon knot hides the staple.
A Scalloped Circle Punch with Santa in the center is just perfect! Actually, all of the circular stamps in the "Deer Friends" stamp set will work beautifully.

Sparkly Trees

I can't believe that I waited until earlier this year to finally order the stamp set "Lovely as a Tree". It will definitely become one of my all time favorites!
Both of these cards use just two ink colors: Handsome Hunter for the trees and Baja Breeze for the sponged sky. Add a little sparkle with some dazzling diamonds glitter and these cards are complete!!
Upper Card: I've seen such beautiful card samples with this large tree over the years and the masking technique is just perfect for this set.
Lower Card: The lower card uses the stamp with the beautiful row of trees. I stamped once in the center of the card and then added a few more trees after I "stamped off" some of the ink. Simple and Elegant!

Hershey Bar Santas

These have been my favorite treats at the craft shows. I chose to add some quotes at the top of the bar, but they are just as cute without them. The quotes are then punched out with an oval punch and adhered to the Hershey bars.
I make all of my candy bar wrappers from a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2" square piece of card stock. You can get 4 wrappers out of a single piece of 12x12 card stock. Simply score these squares at 1 1/2, 1 3/4, 4 and 4 1/4". Scoring them makes them fit nicely around the candy bar and gives a clean edge.

Santa Tootsie Roll Treats

Here's another sample of Frappuccino bottles for the upcoming craft shows! I save up these cute little Starbucks bottles all year long so that I have plenty available when Christmas time rolls around. They are just the perfect size for Tootsie Rolls, Hershey Kisses, etc. and they are so easy to decorate.
I've tried out several different buckles, you'll see two different versions pictured here. The smaller buckle on the left is one of those little "button" punches with slots to thread the belt through and the two buckles on the left are using a Quickutz die. The Santa circle in the middle of the picture is just one of the lids so you could see the top of the bottle too!

Christmas Tootsie Roll Treats

I'm participating in some "Holiday Marts" at nearby elementary schools over the next few weekends. The schools invite various vendors to participate and offer their products/services. It's a great day of shopping for the kiddos and their parents!

The project today is Christmas Tootsie Roll Treats. These are made out of the Starbucks Frappuccino bottles and filled with tootsie rolls. Name Frame

Just wanted to share with you one of my favorite projects...Name Frames.
I've held Name Frame workshops over the past couple of years and they are always a popular class! These frames make such beautiful gifts and we all have so much fun personalizing our frames.
All of the workshop attendees choose their card stock colors ahead of time so that is everything is cut and ready when they arrive for class. Then it's their turn to get creative and complete their personalized projects:-)
My tables are stocked with stamp sets, ink and embellishments. The girls can pick and choose what they would like to use to complete their frames. Some girls choose to stamp words like "family", "dance", "believe", "cherish", etc... instead of actual names. All of the projects are truly individual works of art!
It's also a chance for me to pull out all of those retired sets - I still love the "Letterpress and Headline" alphabet sets (retired) and we always use those for the Name Frame Workshops.
I won't list all of the supplies but I will say that it's a great time to pull out all of those retired stamp sets that are gathering dust in my cupboards!!

Big On Christmas

Just a few more pictures from my upcoming Christmas Card workshop! I love the stamp set "Big on Christmas" with the large greetings and sweet images within the words. This is a great set for decorating candy bars, but this time, I'm just sticking with cards!
I've used some designer series paper on these cards. You can get a large amount of cards from just one sheet if you cut the paper just right. These samples use a 4x2" piece of designer paper, so I can get 18 cards from just one sheet.
It might be nice to add a little "SPARKLE" to these cards:-)

Making cards with the Top Note die and my Big Shot is such a simple process. I love the results; elegant and simple.

Snowman Poop

Snowman Poop is a fun little treat I make every year for the craft shows I participate in during October, November & December. I was so excited to be able to use my Big Shot for the Bag toppers on this year's treat!!
First, I cut all of the bag toppers from Whisper White card stock using the SU! Top Note Die. Then, I dug out my Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder and ran all my bag-toppers through my Big Shot machine to emboss those gorgeous snowflakes. The bag toppers fit the SU! small cello bags perfectly, so it's a quick and easy little treat!

After some shopping, I finally found the transparency film (acetate) I was looking for so I could make some cards. I just love this stuff so you may find many more posts in the coming weeks using transparency film!! The White Stazon ink works great on the transparencies!
We don't have any snow on the ground, but the wind is howling outside. It makes me feel like it's time to plan my Christmas cards and get some samples ready for upcoming Christmas classes.

Christmas Nugget Tins

Greetings!
What could be better than stamping and chocolate? I love the Holiday Treasures Designer Paper especially since Chocolate Chip is a color used in this set of papers. Just wrap a dozen Hershey nuggets (using a small piece of DSP measuring 1"x3"). Finish up with a fun belly band and ribbon around the entire box.
The "Merry Christmas" stamped tag is attached to the ribbon using the new silver cord, but that doesn't show in this photo!

Pumpkin Poop

Here is my 2008 version of Pumpkin Poop along with a beautiful wooden pumpkin painted years ago by my Mom. Isn't she talented!! I used the Top Note die with my Big Shot for the bag topper...that's a quick and easy treat.

Baskets of Eyeballs

Greetings!
Another quick post to show these baskets made with my Big Shot. I used my Baskets and Blooms die and cut two of the baskets from designer paper. The third basket is cut from Basic Black card stock and then embossed with silver embossing powder. No basket would be complete without chocolate, so I added the wrapped chocolate eyeballs. The eyes kind of look like they are peering right up out of the basket! Creepy...but cute!!

Mummy Candy Bars

Greetings!
Here's a versatile little design. I've used these Mummies on candy bars, Scrapbook Pages, Frappuccino bottles and other assorted Halloween treats.
The Candy Wrapper is cut to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
Score this square along one side at 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 4" and 4 1/4". Wrap the Hershey bar with this wrapper.
Tear and ink up a few long strips of Vanilla CS. Adhere these strips randomly on the vanilla wrapper, trimming the ends as you add strips so they are flush with the sides of the candy bar. Punch some eyes, add a mouth...and Voila...

Card stock: (SU) Basic Black, Whisper White, Very Vanilla (these are made using some leftover Bazzill card stock from recent scrapbook pages!)
Ink: Close to Cocoa

M&M Monsters

Greetings!
These sweet little treats are just the right size to hold the small individual bags of M&M's or Skittles.
The "mouth" is punched using a 1 3/8" circle punch to show the candies hiding inside. A single staple seals the treats and a ribbon can be attached at the same time using the same staple. Super Quick and Easy!!

Dimensions: Black CS measures 3x11, then scored at 4, 6 and 10; designer paper is 2 3/4 x 3"

Frankenstein Treats

Good Morning!
Here's a sample of the Frankenstein treats we've made during clubs, classes and workshops. The box with the wire handle can hold lots of Halloween treats and the candy bar wrapper fits the normal 1.55 ounce Hershey bar. Frankenstein's hair is made using a Grass Border die. This long die works perfectly for those of us who don't wat to give Frank a haircut using scissors!!

Scalloped Spider Treats

I absolutely love punch art! I posted these little scalloped spiders on Splitcoaststampers in October of 2008.
The spiders are made using Stampin' Up! punches: Two Scalloped cirle punches for his body, 1/2" and 1/4" circle for his eyes, 1/4" circle for his nose, and the layered Photo Corners punch for his legs. With a peppermint patty sandwiched between the two scallop punches, these little critters can stand up all on their own.
